I am a self-trained Bolivian visual and performance artist with a background in social sciences and activist anthropology. I hold a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Maryland, College Park and an M.A in Anthropology & Social Change from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Having been uprooted at age fifteen from my home in Bolivia, much of my art deals with the (collective) unconscious, sublimated longing, and the liminal spaces of the (im)migrant experience. My artworks also express environmental concerns through ongoing explorations about the ways in which 'nature' and 'human beings' are interdependent and make one another.
I currently live in Berlin.
