EVERYTHING THAT DIES INSIDE US Vernissage during Lange Nacht der Bilder, Lichtenberg

I tear small pieces from old photographs of myself as a teenager during my first years living in the United States.

As I work to disintegrate each photo, a slide show plays in the background with archival photos taken by my late father of rural life in my homeland (Cochabamba, Bolivia) to instrumental music by the band Nine Inch Nails. 

The photographs are part of an installation with the same title.
